Still off the beaten path, Haro’s wine fight still has the authentic and intimate feel that creates a truly unique travel experience. If you appreciate fine wines, love a good party, or want an excursion you’ll never forget, this epic festival in the Spanish countryside is an absolute can’t-miss.
Dance in Haro’s gorgeous plaza until it’s time to make the early morning journey into the Spanish hillside where festival-goers are armed with squirt guns, buckets, and anything else they can use to douse each other with wine. After rinsing off and taking a siesta, hit the town again for another night of revelry. Get ready for a days-long, wine-fueled fiesta in the Spanish countryside!

Monday
Learn from a CONNOISSEUR
On Monday we’ll welcome you to the beautiful La Rioja region with a fantastic dinner surrounded by your fellow travelers. We’d be remiss not to indulge in the best that the region has to offer, so we’ll chase dinner with a fabulous wine tasting. After you’re sufficiently accustomed to Haro’s wine, you’ll want to dance through the night to blasting music in the town’s plaza.
Tuesday
ready for a fight like no other?
Tuesday is the big day- we’ll get up at the break of dawn to make the journey into the glistening dewy spanish hills. You’ll be armed with red wine, and once we arrive you’ll head up into the hillside to join the chaos and drench the festival-goers along the way. After the fight is done, you’ll stop at the hotel to rinse off and join us for a beach BBQ to fuel up for the party ahead!
Wednesday
tour a vinyard
On Wednesday morning you’ll probably be exhausted after the festivities, so take it easy, enjoy a relaxed stroll in the countryside, or explore the village. In the afternoon we have an exclusive vineyard tour lined up so you can get a behind-the-scenes peek at how La Rioja’s wine is produced. Now that you’ve had a taste of Spain, we’ll keep the adventure rolling in gastronomy and surfing capital San Sebastian!
