BARCELONA ABROADFEST

The legendary Barcelona music festival, Abroadfest, has finally returned. Bringing study abroad students from around Europe together for an unparalleled weekend dedicated to electronic music lovers. And, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

From Gaudi to Picasso, swimming in the Med, dancing in beachside nightclubs, and lively parks, it’s easy to see why travelers are captivated by Barcelona’s allure. The sea, the sun, and the sangria set a stunning scene for what’s about the midpoint of your semester abroad.

Barcelona is one of Spain’s most vibrant cities and features unique and unforgettable Catalan culture. With fantastic local wine, some of Europe’s best seafood, architectural marvels, and streets of artisanal shops, you certainly won’t be bored in sunny Barcelona. THURSDAY

SIESTA THEN FIESTA!

If you arrive early on Thursday, you’ll have time to explore the city and check out some of the sights before we kick off the first night of Abroadfest. If you can’t miss class, and you arrive later, toss you bags in the hotel and get ready for the first night of your weekend.

Friday

Markets, Mediterranean and making new friends

Don’t speed walk through Barcelona, every street has something new to see. We’ll start Friday with a cafe con leche on the go, as we walk past some of the most beautiful and unique architecture you’ve ever seen. Spend some time surrounded by the fresh smells of La Boqueria, enjoy the feeling of the sand around your toes in La Barceloneta, and rest a bit, so you are ready for day 2 of Abroadfest.
